This geodatabase stores information on vernal pools and their geographic locations. The data can be queried or mapped to show the distribution of vernal pools currently documented in the database.

The map (right) represents the latest version of the Vernal Pool Database, which includes all pools registered to date. For information on how you can obtain locational information to visit the sites, please contact us.

To document a new vernal pool, please go to Register a Vernal Pool to enter and submit your data to us with a mail-in form.
